The Challenge
The client needed a reusable inter-plant transport package to protect a sensitive measuring device.
The Solution
The container we designed has a removable end and cover, with a latch and lock system, for the ease of loading and unloading of its contents. The container was lined with various foam padding to support and hold the piece in place to reduce shock and distress during transport.
This kind of transport containers have an expanded life of many reuses. It lasted three years before some of the foam had to be replaced. The client was very pleased with the results of the box and the lower cost in packaging due to the reusability of this design.
